Men’s Senior Teams

DTFC’s Men’s Senior programme is built on a simple idea: play quality football with quality people. Between our Men’s Reserves and Men’s Premier teams, there’s a place for serious competitors, returning players and everything in between – all wrapped in that trademark DTFC family atmosphere.

Men’s Reserves – The Heartbeat of the Club

No club functions without a strong Reserves crop – and at DTFC, the Ressies are exactly that.

Our Men’s Reserves squad brings together:

  • Old talents with plenty of game smarts
  • Young guns breaking through from juniors and FIFA teams
  • And a whole crew of players in between

It’s a good bunch of mates who love playing decent, honest football but are just as much about the social side of the club. The Reserves are inclusive, supportive and welcoming – a great fit if you want to train, compete and have a laugh along the way.

While we definitely want to do well in the league, the Ressies will always put having a good game and enjoying the occasion slightly ahead of win-at-all-costs thinking.

Importantly, the Reserves also act as a stepping stone into the Premier side. Across the season, it’s common for players to be moved up based on form, attitude and commitment.

Men’s Premier – The Pinnacle of DTFC Men’s Football

The Men’s Premier team is the pinnacle of the DTFC men’s pathway.

Consistently competing at the pointy end of the table and cup competitions, the Premier side sets the standard for performance, preparation and professionalism across the club.

Led by Club Technical Director, Jack Eades, the Premier team is known for:

  • Quality coaching and clear tactical structures
  • A recognisable, signature playing style
  • High-intensity training sessions
  • A tightly knit, driven playing group

The Premier squad fights hard on the pitch and trains even harder during the week. Players are highly committed to the season, to their teammates and to representing Dunsborough at the highest level.

Pathways & Progression

For ambitious players, DTFC offers a clear pathway:

Juniors → FIFA Teams → Men’s Reserves → Men’s Premier

Strong performances, good attitude and consistency in the Reserves are regularly rewarded with opportunities in the Premier side. The two teams train closely and support each other – one club, one senior group.
